Hi, Great to have you with us today! Please share with our readers about your journey.
Hi, we started out from a karaoke party and graduated into a band for Alexander, who was just 14 yrs old at the time, just to have fun making and playing music at our family gatherings. We were having fun and rocking it out with gigs whenever and wherever. Then, Covid came around, and that’s when we decided to stop talking about making an album and getting to a studio and actually doing It.
Please tell us about your music album, A Fool’s Life.
We hope it’s a sound that is likable and enjoyed. As you listen to it, you will clearly hear the similarities of the “Greats” that have inspired us through the years. That’s really who The Can-Ams are. A collaboration of our favorite artists that we’ve grown up with and listened to. We hope our sound is a good solid foundation of what we can grow into and become. We love doing covers, but we want our own existence; We don’t want to seem like we are piggybacking those great bands and people that have brought us to where we are now.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Being a band takes a lot of work. Things just don’t move as fast as you would like them to. You have to stay consistent with your desire to achieve your goals as a whole. You have to motivate each other and stay dedicated to your music. I would have to say our success is because Alexander & Andy are like two peas in a pod; both of them are cut from the same cloth; Those two work and feed off each other perfectly. I can remember gigs that we would show up for, and somebody would be having an off day and having things not in sync, but as soon as those two got together and started warming up, you could just feel it when things came together. We would have some of the best shows ever. Those two have a gift that, when together, they could really get the crowd and audience so pumped up; the energy in the room can launch a rocket to Mars.
