EVOLVED”: The Album Where EDDIEVOLUTION Bares His Artistic Soul

    EDDIEVOLUTION

In the ever-evolving world of music, where sounds transform and artists reinvent themselves, there emerges a tale of growth, passion, and sheer determination. This is the story of Jaylin Eddie, known in the music circles as EDDIEVOLUTION, whose journey from the vibrant streets of Killeen, Texas, to the dynamic realms of rap and beyond encapsulates the essence of an artist truly “EVOLVED.” This narrative isn’t just about music; it’s about the metamorphosis of a young talent, charting his path in the vast universe of beats, bars, and beyond.

    A Sonic Journey Begins

Born on the cusp of the new millennium, January 3, 2001, Jaylin’s foray into the world of music was anything but ordinary. Inspired by his cousin and galvanized by the famous rapper Punchmadedev, whom he met in 2015, Jaylin’s early days were filled with the eclectic energy of creating YouTube videos and conquering the digital landscapes as a 2K YouTuber. But beneath the veneer of gaming and online fame, a fervent passion for music simmered, waiting for its moment to burst forth.

“EVOLVED” – A Testament to Growth

Fast forward to the present, and Jaylin, at 23, unveils “EVOLVED,” an album that is not just a collection of tracks but a narrative of personal and musical transformation. “I dropped my first albums around 18,” Jaylin reflects, “and now, at 23, my sound has shifted, grown, just as I have.” This album, released with fervor and hope, is a dedication to his journey, marked by experiences and the inevitable evolution of his sound. From engineering to producing beats, and laying down verses all by himself on FL Studio, Jaylin’s hands-on approach to his music is a testament to his dedication and skill.

    Influences and Inspirations

Growing up, Jaylin’s ears were tuned to the heavy hitters of rap and hip-hop. Yet, as his world expanded, so did his musical tastes. From Pierre Bourne to Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Juice WRLD, and XXXTentacion, the influences are as varied as they are profound. But it doesn’t stop there. “Lately, my music has taken a turn towards metal/rock,” he shares, citing a daily gym routine since 2022 as a catalyst for this shift. Artists like Hybrid Theory and Blessthefall have crept into his playlists, with “This Fire” by Killswitch Engage becoming a personal anthem.

    More Than Just Music

But Jaylin’s story is more than just about music. It’s about overcoming the odds, breaking free from the shadows, and shining on his own terms. “I’ve been overlooked all my life,” he admits, “but all I need is a chance to make it.” Currently serving active duty in the army since November 9, 2021, Jaylin’s dreams extend beyond the barracks to the global stages where his unique sound and independent spirit can resonate with audiences worldwide.

    The Quest for Recognition

    EDDIEVOLUTION

In a world where the competition is fierce and the spotlight often fleeting, Jaylin, aka EDDIEVOLUTION, stands as a beacon of hope for aspiring artists everywhere. His journey, encapsulated in the album “EVOLVED,” is not just about the evolution of sound but the relentless pursuit of passion against all odds. It’s a reminder that with talent, perseverance, and a bit of luck, the underdog’s day in the sun is never too far away.

As Jaylin Eddie continues to craft his destiny one beat at a time, “EVOLVED” serves as a powerful testament to his journey thus far and the exciting, uncharted territories that lie ahead. In the end, it’s not just about being heard; it’s about being remembered, leaving an indelible mark on the canvas of music, and inspiring others to follow their dreams, no matter where they lead.

We had the pleasure of interviewing the artist. Here are excerpts from the interview:

Hi, Please introduce yourself and tell us about your journey.

I’m Jaylin Eddie. I make music & was famous for 2K videos on YouTube (EDDIEVOLUTION ON YOUTUBE). The artist’s name is EDDIEVOLUTION now, and it used to be RAGE. I’ve dropped two albums already under the name RAGE on Apple Music / Spotify / YouTube of the names (WE WANT RAGE & AREA 51).

I was born and raised in Killeen, Texas, I was born on January 3, 2001 (23). I make my own music from engineering, producing beats and, of course, rapping on them all by myself at FL studio. My cousin was the reason i started making beats and the famous rapper Punchmadedev who i’ve met in 2015, we’ve played video games together and made youtube videos and blew up on youtube and became 2K youtubers and overtime started making music and he blew up overtime and i’ve been an underdog just making music for myself until it’s my time to blow. I feel the need to be heard because I’ve been overlooked all my life when it comes to talent and passion for music or anything I’ve done. I just need a chance to make it, and I’ll show the world some real energy.

I’ve grown up listening to a lot of rap hip hop artists, and over the period of time, my sound of artists have changed and I’ve become highly influenced by the new rappers, including mainly Pierre Bourne, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Juice Wrld, XXXTentacion, and so on. When i’m in the gym daily and have been since 2022 to now, my music has evolved into metal/rock music and i listen to alot of Hybrid Theory and Blessthefall but overall my favorite rock song is “This fire” by killswitch engage (aka cm punk theme song) lol. I’m currently in the army and have been on active duty since November 9, 2021, and I want to make it out by making music. I feel as if my sound is unique, and I want to be heard around the world for my independent talent.

Please tell us about your latest album.

This new album, “EVOLVED,” is my newest sound. I got the name of the album from my evolution as a person. I was around 18 when I dropped my first albums. I’m 23 now, and I’ve grown up, and my sound has changed a bit. So, it’s just dedicated to my growth and experiences in music.

    Any message for our readers

My message is, give me a chance. I want to be at the top and give my love back to the people who support me. I just need one shot to blow up and make it all worth it.
