Entrepreneur shares the secret motivation behind his venture hypetik.com

Matt-Blackburn-1

Matt Blackburn is an impressive marketer and entrepreneur, but perhaps he is most known for his website Hypetik that helps newbie Tiktokers promote themselves on the TikTok platform. If you’re new to the app that is now a worldwide sensation, and you’re specifically looking to make a living out of TikTok, Matt Blackburn’s your guy. We are here with the inside scoop on Hypetik.com after chatting with the extremely down-to-earth Matt over a cup of coffee.

1. Please tell us about yourself, Matt.

Well, I’m not much of an enigma, really, so there’s really not much to tell. But if you really want to know, I suppose you could say that I like observing things around me and I love coffee! So I’m quite happy that you called me over to this coffee place.

2. How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us a little bit more about your journey.

Well, as I said, I like observing things. Observation is what led me to be an entrepreneur, marketer, and creator of Hypetik. The TikTok trend started back in 2017 when it was launched globally and outside of China. And the trend spread fast! And just like bloggers on Instagram, people started earning through TikTok as well. And to really be able to start earning, you need thousands of followers and likes. But that is not an easy job for newbie TikTok creators. And I knew I could solve this problem for people. And that’s how Hypetik was created.

3. Who are your role models?

I’m actually really impressed by Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates. They created empires that are now household names. They were pioneers, not people who jumped onto the bandwagon when something started gaining popularity. And I think that’s how a person should work – in any business. He should be a trendsetter instead of just following the trend. Anyone can follow a trend, and by the time you jump onto the bandwagon, there’s no knowing if you’re entering a saturated market or will be able to make money out of whatever it is you’re doing.

4. Please tell us about your company.

Well, as you know, I’m the founder and CEO of Hypetik.com. I came up with the idea for Hypetik when the TikTok trend had just started taking off. You’ll find a lot of websites like Hypetik now, and I admit, the market really is quite saturated now for sites that help new TikTokers get started. But Hypetik was one of the first to emerge. I saw the opportunity to solve the problem of quickly becoming a sensation on TikTok – and let’s face it, this is the age of internet marketing and online earning. In another 25 years, the percentage of 9 to 5 jobs will drop drastically as more and more people prefer working from home. Hypetik is also a pretty contemporary online earning method. New TikTok creators can use our services to get an initial and much-needed boost on the app.

5. Looking back, what’s the one thing you wish you understood better before you ever got started?

I would have liked to have known a bit more about TikTok and the potential it had. Then I would have marketed my service a bit differently than I did at the start. But I’ve learned a lot along the way. Since I was one of the first ones on the market, I have a first-mover advantage. When I started out, I had no idea people would start earning from TikTok. At that time, it was just about who had the most followers. But I should have known that in this digital age, all social media personalities now use their popularity as a way to earn. And I’m all for it now.

6. What keeps you going when things get tough?

Hope-pic-2

Hope! If I made it this far by climbing over all obstacles, I could do it in the future, too. Hope is your energy and keeps you going. And that is what helps me through when the going gets tough – focusing on the silver lining.

7. How can people connect with you?

It’s very simple. You can go to my website Hypetik.com and drop a message in the contact form. I read all the messages and reply to most of them myself, too. So I’m available there.

8. Any message for our readers?

I would say that lookout for new trends and use your observation to innovate. Provide people with a product or service that they’ve never seen before but that they would die to get their hands on. Don’t just be someone who follows the herd, be a leader in your field.
