The Manthan Code: Seven Secrets to Emotional Healing is a fascinating new look into the topic of trauma and healing. Wrapped in a fictional story, the author, Shambhu Sundriyal, offers a compelling look at different hidden ideas from Hinduism that provide a path to getting better and overcoming complex emotions.
The Manthan Code begins at a point that has always been of interest and concern to humankind. What is suffering, and why does it exist? Why must people feel pain? Nath takes a deep dive into Hinduism and explores the hidden ideas that come from this powerful religion, all the ideas that can help people discover and explore the process of healing from trauma.
The Manthan Code explores the ancient traditions of the Hindu Rishis, traditions that have been used for centuries to help people discover their inner joy and connect with it.
The book follows the story of a protagonist who receives lessons in wisdom and joy from Babaji, discovering what Manthan is and how it can improve a person’s life. Manthan offers a variety of techniques that can be employed to connect with one’s inner self and become free. Puranic Manthan is a path to dive deep into one’s mind and address patterns of thought and belief that are standing in the way of a satisfying life. Opening oneself up through dismantling these patterns can help one live a better life.
The tale is fictional, but the method is functional. It is a novel approach to the topic of well-being through millenarian wisdom and the rich symbols that Hinduism offers, something that can benefit people from any and all backgrounds. The concept itself, Manthan, is based on the idea of transformation, an ancient idea within the religion, and the idea of churning, of transformation, helps the person grind their emotional experiences, so full of pain, into the “nectar” of freedom, joy, and peace. It offers a novel path to emotional liberation through the secrets of Hinduism and its ancestral practices.
Nath explores seven secrets in The Manthan Code, each rooted in ancient practices. These are not really life hacks or simple tips meant to resolve complex issues, but instead are profound ideas that approach serious existential issues with a lot of care, drawing from the wisdom of Hinduist thought. However, the fictional setting makes the ideas more accessible and easy to explore so that it can offer readers a practical path to emotional freedom. With a spiritual foundation, it is a unique approach to self-help through deep ideas rather than the shallow practices that can sometimes be found within the genre. Its spiritual roots encourage a deeper wisdom.
Shambhu Nath comes from a remote Indian village, but his life path brought him to the USA, to a high-tech environment and an incredible process of growth. However, at some point, Nath realized that his inner growth was not matching his external achievements, which were amazing. Through Hinduism, he found a solution to deal with stress and is now sharing it with others.
We had the pleasure of interviewing Shambhu Sundriyal. Here are the excerpts from the interview.
Hi, Great to have you with us today! Please share with our readers about yourself.
Hi, I grew up in a small village in India where we didn’t have electricity or running water. Every day, it was an adventure just to get to school—it required an hour-long climb! But those struggles taught me two important life lessons: never give up, and education can change everything.
Fast-forward to now, and I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world. I’ve lived in amazing places like France, the Cayman Islands, and Bermuda. These days, I’m based in the USA, working in IT with master’s degrees in both science and management. While my professional life keeps me busy, what really fuels my passion is the study of the human mind and spirit. I’m deeply interested in the spiritual aspects of religion, particularly its power to heal humans and end suffering. My analytical mind loves to decode the symbolism in religious texts and practices, looking for keys to improve our lives.
Please tell us about your book, The Manthan Code: Seven Secrets to Emotional Healing.
“The Manthan Code: Seven Secrets to Emotional Healing,” is a fictional tale of Emotional Healing Through Hindu Symbolism. It is a groundbreaking exploration into emotional well-being, drawing from the rich symbolism and wisdom of Hinduism. The title “Manthan” is inspired by the ancient Hindu concept of churning or transformation. The book serves as a guide to churning your own emotional experiences to bring out the ‘nectar’ of inner peace and emotional freedom.
The Manthan Code outlines seven pivotal secrets that are designed to unlock the path to emotional healing. These aren’t quick fixes or simple tips; they are profound insights rooted in ancient philosophy, made accessible and relatable for modern readers. The objective is to make emotional liberation not just an ideal but a practical, achievable goal. I delve into intricate symbolism within Hinduism and Chakra healing, unpacking them in a way that someone unfamiliar with the religion could understand and appreciate. But it’s not just for those interested in Hinduism—it’s a book for anyone who has ever struggled with emotional baggage and is seeking a way to heal and find peace.
The book aims to bridge the gap between spirituality and practical self-help. It encourages readers to end their suffering by understanding the profound wisdom hidden in everyday experiences and ancient texts. By doing so, one can unlock a life of emotional liberation and peace.
Please share with our readers about your journey.
From a remote village in India to the high-tech world in the United States, I have lived a life that reads like it was filled with miracles, blessings, contributions, and a privilege. I do not take it lightly as I know that not everyone is lucky, like me, to experience the extreme end of experiences.
However, one thing I realized was that no matter how successful I was in the outer world, the inner world was not catching up and feeling fulfilled. This diverted my interest to psychology and the human mind; however, I found the solution in the symbolism of Hinduism. I was surprised that there are modern-day solutions in our scriptures to deal with the current life of stress, anxiety, and peer pressure.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Never Stop Learning: Whether it’s my work in IT, studying psychology, or diving deep into the wisdom of ancient scriptures, I’ve always kept my mind open to new knowledge.
Balancing Logic with Emotion: My background in science and management has given me analytical skills, while my interest in psychology and spirituality has helped me understand the human aspect. This balance has been crucial in all my endeavors.
Resilience: Growing up in a small village in India taught me the value of never giving up, no matter how difficult the situation. That resilience has been a guiding light in both my professional and personal life.
Empathy and Compassion: Running a nonprofit has not only been rewarding but also eye-opening. It has instilled in me a sense of empathy and a desire to contribute positively to the world.
Practice Mindfulness: I’ve found that a daily practice of meditation and yoga helps me stay centered, focused, and calm, even in the midst of a hectic lifestyle.
Networking: Establishing strong relationships in both my professional and personal circles has opened doors and provided opportunities that I might not have found otherwise.
Continuous Self-Reflection: I always take time to reflect on my actions and decisions. This helps me stay aligned with my core values and goals, keeping me on the path to realizing my true self.
