We had the pleasure of interviewing André Stewart. Here are the excerpts from the interview.
Hi André, Great to have you with us today! What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Get locked into your dream for a minimum of 10 years, enjoy the journey and welcome the entire process. Being successful is a marathon, not a sprint, so everything you do has to be conducive to your success. This means to cut off anything that doesn’t support it, from people, social media, family, to tv, etc., and gain as much knowledge as possible on whatever industry your dream is in and more. Being a lifelong learner is what helped me become successful, as when you know better, you do better, and the only way that happens is through educating yourself. That doesn’t mean spend thousands of dollars at higher education institutes like college, but you can take open source courses, go to libraries, and there are also 1000s of people on YouTube that have done something that you want to do. Getting a mentor is an absolute must, as it also helps with the learning curve and mitigates risk and loss of money as they have been in your shoes before. Most millionaires have close to 7 mentors and each being for different subject matters that they want to excel at.
Any message for our readers.
My message to readers is don’t reinvent the wheel; there’s a formula to getting rich or being successful, just like there’s a formula to a math equation. Once you figure that out, the world is yours for the taking. If you want to go somewhere, find someone who has taken that route and has been successful getting there many times before. They obviously know the equation for success.
