For the Love of Music: MC C.B.’s Soulful Tracks in the album ‘Junk Story XL : After the Rain’

    Junk-Story-XL---After-the-Rain

Junk Story XL : After the Rain is a unique project from MC C.B., the hip-hop artist and producer recognized for his distinctive style and influences. This is a deluxe release of his 2018 album, which adds several new tracks and expands on the album’s themes and sound. The deluxe edition of his 2018 album. With the addition of several new tracks and a fresh spotlight on some great productions, this is a must-listen for any fans of indie music with a unique set of Japanese influences.

MC C.B. offers an unchanged set of tracks between 1 and 12, which are still the amazing pieces of music that made audiences fall in love with the artist’s music back in 2018 when the album was first released. L.O.V.E. and Moonlight, among others, hold up very well and continue to offer a unique and engaging sound. However, one of the big draws of the album is the new pieces of music that expand and enhance the original experience. Discover the amazing music he has created and enjoy the deluxe edition of this popular album over at Spotify:

After the Rain is a jazz piano song, full of soul, a track that introduces the novel pieces of music and serves as the bridge between the old and the new. For You, From Me, For Them is a song that dives into the new whole-heartedly, with a tribute to fatherhood and brotherhood, focusing on the singer’s father, brother, and then future son; a raw exploration of the issues in these relationships but with a lot of love at the center.

Nothing 2 Do is an exciting track about unrequited love, soft and emotive, which considers what it feels to pine for something or, rather, someone you can’t have, for someone already engaged. The track is a poetic exploration of a bad idea, but ultimately an experience that can be valuable.

The album continues with May Flowers, a peaceful goodbye that concludes the saga of April Showers, very familiar to fans of MC C.B.’s second album. Like I Can and Under Control are two re-releases of the most energetic, playful, and exciting tracks from the artist.

With tracks 19 through 21, the album winds down. You Had Enough is an examination of drinking and what it means, and how it translates into being able to identify your limits and resisting temptation.

Space is about the diverging experiences in a relationship, when the other person seems to have more feelings than you do, and the bittersweet experience of realizing this. Finally, Now or Never is the final track, a high-energy finale that draws inspiration from artists like Gorillaz and blends genres such as J-pop and rap to create a triumphant end note. It inspires hope for the future and the idea of a bright tomorrow.

You can connect with this artist over at the website and you can listen to the songs on Apple Music.
