Elevate Your Journey with ‘Hack Your Flights: Complete Guide to Everything Air Travel’ by Author P.A.Brown

‘Hack Your Flights: Complete Guide to Everything Air Travel’ is the new guide from recognized non-fiction author P.A.Brown, also known as Selkirk4books. This is the perfect Christmas present for a travel enthusiast, a picky flier, or someone who is soon to embark on a journey.

As the name suggests, this is a book that will walk the reader through their next flight, from prep to after the experience, to ensure that it’s a smooth trip at all points.

A flight can be very exciting because of the destination. If you’re going on vacation or having an important business trip, there is a lot of positive emotion tied to it. However, the experience of travelling by plane itself is often not as fun, nor is it exciting. A flight can be disappointing, stressful, difficult, and annoying. There are many issues to navigate, beginning with expensive tickets, confusing rules on luggage, and complicated airport layouts. This guide is perfect for overcoming any and all issues and getting the most out of your journey.

The guide contains advice that can be applied by even the pickiest traveller going anywhere from Alaska to Abu Dhabi. Here, readers will encounter a comprehensive list of tips, strategies, and innovations they can use to make their journey pleasant, smooth, and also a little bit VIP.

Readers will find a guide to the best and worst airlines, as rated by customers. Here, they will see which ones are best avoided and which provide top-notch customer service to prevent getting stuck with one of the most hated ones! What’s more, the book also offers insightful ratings of the safest and the ones considered least safe. Brown also presents the best options for travel credit cards and separates them into different categories so that readers can find the one that suits them best.

He offers a review of the best apps travellers can download and use, depending on where they are going, including the best options for navigating airports. Readers are sure to benefit from these mobile apps that will help make their flights cheaper, more comfortable, and easier to navigate those ever-changing airports.

P.A.Brown is a prolific author who is best known for his non-fiction work. His works focus on a wide variety of topics that sometimes intersect with a lot of the author’s interests, such as travel, ancient stonework, and the mysteries and unexplained things of the world. He has published two books on curious and extraordinary situations related to the extraordinary abilities of different individuals. He is currently working on a new book focusing on unusual people and unusual places. The author has released puzzle books for kids and adults, as well as notebooks and diaries with enchanting designs and useful interiors. His personal hero is Alexander Selkirk.

You can find the book available on Amazon, where it’s available as a Kindle and Paperback. Currently, it’s available for pre-order and will hit the shelves officially on December 12, 2023.

We had the pleasure of interviewing the Author. Here are excerpts from the Interview:

Hi, Great to have you with us today! Please tell us about what it is that you do.

Hi, I am retired, at last, from the daily grind most of us live, 9 till 5. I have always had a grounded sense of appreciating nature and the natural environment, which is another way of saying I can manage to live on the outskirts of a city if there is a garden but could never live in a city apartment. I have a high interest in good environmental practices (I have personally planted about 7,000 trees in Scotland and Western Australia).

Can you please tell us about your journey?

I refer to myself as P.A. Brown because there are so many P. Brown names it isn’t funny! I grew up in England, and my interests, even from a young age, include ancient stonework and the oddities and curiosities of the world—especially the unexplained. This has inspired much travel — not to sit on a beach and sip drinks, but to choose places with historical interest. Twice around the world, foot-slogging in remote places in many countries and islands, especially South America. I have lived and worked in 4 countries other than my birthplace, which together with my travels have given me a mountainous pile of memories!

Please tell us about your Book ‘Hack Your Flights. Complete Guide to Everything Air Travel.

I am a recent author of non-fiction books. My most recent book about to be published is titled, Hack Your Flights. Complete Guide to Everything Air Travel. I had noticed how friends and relatives just go online, buy a ticket, wait for the take-off day to arrive, and hope everything will be fine. Oh dear! There are so many simple things we can do to enable improvements in all aspects of the journey — too many to list here.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

I am instinctively cautious about everything. It seems to have been a trait within me from the beginning. This is not to say I don’t have any fun, though many people who know me have to accept I don’t like restaurants, parties, crowds, and birthdays (except for kids who benefit from them). So what’s left, I hear you say? Well, it’s horses-for-courses, as they say. Suggest a trip to a newly discovered cave or pothole to explore, a mountain to climb, a new country to visit, or simply growing my own food in my own garden. Then, I am inspired.

Any message for our readers?

There is an expression I heard as a teen that interested me without any real understanding of it:  The Web of Life. It makes instant sense because we all kind of get the point that humans, animals, plants, and sea life are interrelated. I have come to realize that everything we do counts as important. If we don’t breathe properly, our health suffers. If we don’t eat sensibly and in required moderation (unlike Henry VIII, for example), our health suffers. If we treat birds and animals with disdain or worse, we affect our mental health, and our treatment of the environment is not exactly positioning humanity for a rosy future!

Fantastic! So tell us, how can people find out more about you?

There would be no better way than to see my last-published book. It is a memoir with a difference, called ‘10 Indelibles. Formidable Distinctive Individuals.’ It is how ten people in my life — extraordinary people — have shaped who I am.

I don’t even own a mobile phone, so social media is as far from me as Mars! I love emails, though, and you can drop an email at selkirk4books@gmail.com. There is a ONCE-MONTHLY NEWS-LETTER and a BI-MONTHLY DRAW for a FREE BOOK (paperback or eBook) on my webpage. Just click the “Email Me” button on the top menu bar for a reply.

Thank you so much for giving us your precious time! We wish you all the best for your journey ahead!
