Discover Hidden Gems in Murphy Adkins’s ‘Interactive Word Search: Puzzles with Fun Facts, Trivia & Challenges for Adults’

Introduction to an Engaging Puzzle Adventure

Word puzzle enthusiasts often crave something more than predictable grids. They like fresh words, memorable themes, and little nuggets of interesting info that spark their curiosity. Murphy Adkins’sInteractive Word Search: Puzzles with Fun Facts, Trivia & Challenges for Adults” delivers exactly that, creating a cheerful experience that goes beyond filling in letters. This book invites readers to set aside a bit of time each day to explore a grid—then linger over fascinating tidbits or questions that might encourage them to think in new ways.

At first glance, the collection in Interactive Word Search is impressive. There are 112 themed puzzles, each one showcasing a curated set of vocabulary words. In total, the book features 2,576 unique words—no repeats—so nobody’s getting bored or seeing the same terms over and over. Each puzzle theme stands on its own, adding variety to the solving journey.

But this isn’t just a simple word search compilation. Each puzzle comes with something extra…a fun fact, a trivia insight, a thoughtful quote, a playful challenge, or a quirky question. It’s an immersive take on a classic pastime. Readers can circle their finds, then pause to reflect on that new piece of trivia or an interesting anecdote about the day’s topic. Some might breeze through one puzzle at lunch, then share the newly learned fact with a coworker or friend. Others could spend an evening lost in these pages, letting each theme spark curiosity or lighthearted conversation.

A Look at What Makes It Special

Adkins clearly values user-friendliness. The book’s true large print—16pt—allows everyone to focus on the words without straining their vision. Even the solutions are produced in large text, so there’s no reason to squint or hold the book at arm’s length. Each puzzle sits on its own page, giving the solver plenty of space to circle words without bumping into clutter or margin issues.

Inside, readers will find 146 pages of content, all neatly arranged. The big format (8.5″ x 11.68″) makes the grids comfortable to navigate, and there’s no confusion about which letters belong to which line. It’s a perfect setup for those who want a relaxing, straightforward way to unwind. Puzzlers can see the entire word list at a glance, spot words in the grid, and make notes if they wish—there are three note pages at the back, so everyone has room to track new vocabulary or jot down thoughts about the trivia.

Beyond these design touches, Adkins ensured that each puzzle was manually verified. That extra care means everything lines up the way it should: no missing words or incorrect solutions. It’s a testament to the author’s commitment to delivering a polished, trustworthy product.

Craftsmanship by Murphy Adkins

When someone browses puzzle books, they often look for an author who invests time in crafting a rewarding experience. That’s Murphy Adkins. He brings enthusiasm and precision to every puzzle, focusing on original word sets that stimulate the mind. He recognizes that many puzzle fans crave more than letter grids—they enjoy learning random fun facts or reading quirky snippets that add color to their day.

In “Interactive Word Search,” that attention to detail shines through. Each page feels intentional, as if Adkins personally guided it from idea to publication. He doesn’t leave the solver with only a list of words. Instead, each puzzle’s theme is reinforced by something to read and absorb. It might be a brief challenge (find three more words that could fit the category), a clever quote that makes readers smile, or a bit of trivia that prompts a quick mental pause—“Really? I never knew that.”

That approach creates an ongoing sense of discovery. As readers progress from puzzle to puzzle, they aren’t merely finding words…they’re picking up knowledge, quotes, or facts they’ll recall later. Adkins also respects the need for clarity, which is why the large print, single-page layout, and meticulously checked answers matter so much. He ensures that the search grids remain enjoyable and never frustrating.

We had the privilege of interviewing the author. Here are excerpts from the interview.

Hi, It’s great to have you with us today! Please share about yourself with our readers.

Hey! I’m Mo Hesham from Egypt, and my life has been quite an adventure. I’ve spent years working in mechanical design and CNC programming, but on the side, I’ve always been experimenting—trying my hand at website building, logo design, video editing, CNC machine maintenance, and more to make enough money to achieve a dream of mine.

My true passion? Building a real-life custom Batmobile. It’s been my dream for over a decade, and I’ve worked tirelessly to fund it. The problem? No matter how hard I worked, I could never make enough money or find enough time to actually build it.

So, five months ago, I made a crazy decision—I quit my job to focus on creating passive income. That’s when I discovered Amazon KDP, and now, I’m all in, trying to publish books that people love while working toward my ultimate goal.

Please tell us about your book.

Funny enough, I actually started by writing a novel. But after a month, I realized it would take at least six months to finish, and right now, I don’t have the luxury of waiting that long.

So, I went back to research and found that word search books are in demand all year round. People love them, and some books generate great passive income. But when I looked at reviews, I saw the same complaints over and over:

• Many repeated words

• Spelling mistakes

• Small letters that are hard to read

That’s when I knew I had to do something different. I spent the last three months perfecting my book—ensuring fresh, unique words, zero spelling errors, and a true large print format. But I didn’t stop there. I also added trivia, fun facts, and challenges to make it more than just another word search book. I wanted it to be fun, engaging, and something people would actually enjoy from start to finish.

Please share your journey with our readers.

Man, where do I even start?

For the past 10 years, I’ve been chasing my dream of building a custom Batmobile. I worked hard, saved money, bought parts, designed components, and spent countless hours making it happen. But in the end, no matter how much I tried, my salary was never enough—especially because many of the parts had to be imported, which made the costs skyrocket.

I was working crazy hours at my father’s factory—sometimes up to 22 hours straight—and it just hit me: I’d never have enough time or money to make this dream a reality if I kept doing this.

So, I quit.

My dad didn’t take it well at first. He even tripled my salary to convince me to stay, but by then, I already knew the truth—no job in my country, no matter how high the salary, would give me the freedom and resources I needed to go all in for my dream.

I tried to start an Etsy store, but it turns out you can’t even create an account from Egypt. That’s when I found Amazon KDP. I took every last bit of my savings, bought subscriptions, studied the market, and poured everything into making a high-quality book.

To fund my first marketing campaign (including this one!), I even sold some of my personal belongings.

This isn’t just about selling a book. It’s about building a future—one where I can finally work on my dream without worrying about money or time.

What are the strategies that helped you succeed in your journey?

Honestly? I’m not successful yet. Even though I was the best in my field at the factory and among the best in my country, in my mind, I wouldn’t consider myself successful until I achieved my dream.

But if the question is what keeps me going and prevents me from giving up, I’d say it’s a mix of determination, learning from failures (a lot of them, actually), and refusing to settle.

Here’s what helped me specifically in this book:

• Market Research – I didn’t just jump in blindly. I studied successful books, read reviews, and identified gaps in the market.

• Attention to Detail – No repeated words. No spelling mistakes. Just a well-thought-out, high-quality book.

• Adding Value – I didn’t want my book to be just another word search. I made it interactive and fun with trivia, challenges, and facts.

• Using Past Skills – Some of the side hustles I tried turned out to be useful in making my book look professional.

• Taking Risks – Quitting a stable job, investing all my savings, and betting on myself wasn’t easy. But sometimes, the biggest risks lead to the biggest rewards. I really hope this is one of those times.

Any message for our readers?

If you’ve got a dream, chase it like your life depends on it. Because honestly? It does.

I wasted years thinking I could balance my dream with a 9-to-5 (or, in my case, more like 9-to-1). The truth is that real change only happens when you’re willing to take big risks. It’s scary, it’s unpredictable, and yeah, you’ll probably fail a few times—but that’s the price of building something meaningful.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.”
