Hi, It’s great to have you with us today! Please share about yourself with our readers.

Hi, I go by Racko. Born in Mississippi and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. I’ve been doing music seriously for about 8 years now. I’ve always had a love for music from Blues to Pop and even R&B. My big brothers were doing music, and it kind of gave me the inspiration to wanna do it. I started as one half of a Hip-Hop/Rap duo group named “9Hunnit“, which won “Memphis Best Hip-Hop/Rap Group 2018” but I eventually went solo. Being a street-oriented person, the environment I was in made it hard to stay consistent with the music, but I never completely left it alone. I’ve always kept a latch to it. This is what I breathe, sleep, and eat. Can’t really say I’ve been on this journey for a while; it still feels like I’m just getting started!

Please tell us about your latest single.

My latest single is “Numbers.” Released on April 04, 2024, on all Digital Service Providers, “Numbers“ was inspired by the emotional detachment I felt towards a situation I was having at a particular time in my life. I actually recorded Numbers back in 2021. It’s full of metaphors, and grimy street-sense bars, and it most definitely will make your head nod.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?  

Learning to stay consistent and network with more people allowed me to see and understand that success is a rare commodity. Being humble allows me to respect what the game can give me but also what it can do to me. Focus, Dedication, Determination, & Hard Work have contributed to my success.
