Experience the Romantic Journey in ‘Found Luv’ by Scottie Swirv

Found Luv is the newest project from Scottie Swirv, and it takes listeners on a journey of love and romance. The album explores the musician’s own relationship with love and how it can change, based off of his new marriage and current romantic bond with his wife. 

Scottie Swirv started his music career in 2005 when he won a competition on the Star and Bucwild Morning Show. This led to him gaining notoriety and also inspired the artist to take music more seriously, developing an interest in doing it professionally. But his passion for music did not start with the radio show. He would first record and write lyrics when he was a teenager, and it would become something to help him cope with difficult situations, like losing a dear friend to a drug overdose. Scottie studied at the Institute of Radio. He worked in Hartford, where he learned a lot about marketing, promotion, and management, first as an intern. Then, he got the opportunity to go on tour with French Montana, working as a videographer, which led to further opportunities to film music videos. He worked with artists like Fuego Base and also filmed and starred in Homicide Hartford 860, a notable web series. Throughout this time, Swirv also began releasing songs. 

Recently, Swirv has also been bringing out a few new projects but has focused on quality over quantity. Found Luv is an excellent example of this approach, where the artist focuses on providing the audience with an experience they are sure to enjoy rather than releasing something quick and easy. 

Throughout the years, Swirv has worked hard to perfect his ability to make music. He has worked alongside the renowned producer Pert Production, who know brings a lot of talent to the relese of Found Luv, Swirv’s first LP.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Scottie Swirv. Here are excerpts from the interview.

Hi Scottie, It’s great to have you with us today! Please share about yourself with our readers.

Hi, my musical journey started with being on the radio because my goal is to make relatable music. I have definitely lived life, and I try to put the reality of my experiences into my music to share stories and perspectives with a broad audience.

Please tell us about your latest album, Found Luv.

Found Luv is the latest project I recently dropped through TuneCore, and it is an album mostly about my experiences with love. And because I recently got married, it is about my current relationship. There are a few songs I am looking at doing music videos for in the next few months. Keep a lookout. There are visualizers for “Holla,” which features Fuego Base, and “Big Mouth,” which was the first song on the album. I plan on filming for “Up and Downs” next, where I want to capture the reality of homelessness and moving forward in life and then suddenly taking a step backward.

What strategies have contributed to your success?

The consistency and determination to achieve my goals have made me successful. You can be consistent in anything and achieve a progressive outcome, but sheer determination to win goes with consistency, and that will set you apart from the competition.

I genuinely am grateful to anyone who takes the time to check out my album. I truly appreciate that and hope I can inspire people to never give up on their goals.
