Hi Charlie, It’s great to have you with us today! Please share about yourself with our readers.

Hi, I’m an aspiring writer; in my day job, I work as a kitchen porter. 

Please tell us about your book. 

‘Lost Soul’s Prayer’ is a compilation of poetry I have written based on my experience of alcoholism, drug addiction, and recovery. 

Please share your journey with our readers.

I started writing short stories when I was young; as I got older, I was in several bands and got into songwriting. I also delved into alcoholism and drug addiction, where my time in music ended, as did my creative ventures. Years later, I managed to get clean and sober and found poetry as a good way to channel my insides and help give me something to focus on. I also ended up writing a film script, after which I regained my passion for writing even more and decided to pursue my creative ventures more. 

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

I wouldn’t call myself a success. All I’m trying to do is do what I love.
