Hi, Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.

Hi, my name is Mikey, aka Mikey_is_on, and I am a gaming streamer.

Please tell us about your Twitch and YouTube channels. 

On my Twitch and YouTube, you will find streams of me gaming. I am a variety streamer, but there are 2 games I play the most, and they are Path of Titans and Marvel Rivals.

Please tell us about your journey.

My journey began a long time ago, creating gaming clips on Instagram(which involved games like Call of Duty and Smite). I then moved to YouTube and started doing UFC content, which was very cool because I got noticed by actual, real-life UFC champions. I then switched games and platforms again and started posting Path of Titans content on TikTok. I gained a decent amount of followers on TikTok and then started live streaming there. Tiktok was very sensitive with profanity, which is fine, but when I cursed, they would suspend me for a week. I strive for consistency, so I started to stream on Twitch.

It’s been around 3 years or so since then, and I haven’t been suspended on Twitch, so the change was great. With no suspensions on Twitch, I was able to stream Path of Titans every day for over a year straight. This led me to become one of the top content creators/streamers for that game. So much so that the developers invited me to a private discord with only them and the top content creators/streamers. So it’s the developers and about 10 of us streamers. So, for me, that was a great achievement. Now, I play Marvel Rivals. A dream game that I wished for for over 10 years. It’s an absolutely amazing game, and I look forward to streaming it more and producing more content. I play other games here and there, but those 2 games are my top games right now: Path of Titans and Marvel Rivals.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

The best strategies I’ve found that works best for me is, as I stated above, consistency. Being able to stream/produce content on a consistent basis will generate a community of people who know they can depend on you.

Also, not being afraid to try things. Sometimes, people are afraid to take risks, and I think it can hold them back.
