Hi Halvard, Great to have you with us today! Please share with our readers about yourself.
Hi! I am from Norway, Stavanger. I am a music producer, remixer, and instrumentalist who produce and remix other songs, but I can also make instrumentals!
Please tell us more about your journey.
My journey started with watching youtube and learning How to produce music on my own, and going to a music production school. I have been producing music for three years but started releasing my own songs last year. I produce tropical house, cinematic, house, pop, EDM, and everything else I want to make. I am an independent music producer, so I produce What I want, but my main focus is Tropical House, but maybe a few surprises will come in which genres I can make!
Please tell us about your latest song, Never Meant to Be.
I came out with the new original song, Never Meant to Be on Friday, March 3rd! The first verse is about when you are trying to be there for someone else, but they don’t care about you at all, and they fall in love with someone else, but you are in love with that person. The second verse is about when you are hurting over a breakup but, in the end realizing that it made you free that it is over.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
My strategy has been to never give up on my dreams and believe in myself. I am not so successful yet, but my first dream was to release songs, and I finally did last year! My next dream I am working is to be able to work full time as a producer and tour the world in the future With djing. Many people will think that I am crazy, and the truth is, yes, I am crazy. I will never give up on my dreams, no matter how long or how hard it can get. At least I am trying my best to achieve my dreams.
Any message for our readers?
My advice is never to give up on your dreams even if people don’t believe in you because if you don’t at least try, you will regret it when you get older that you didn’t.
