Hi Johnny, It’s great to have you with us today! Please share about yourself with our readers.

Hi, I do my best to write and play quality Rock n’ Roll and bring it with me everywhere I can. If I had to summarize my life mission, it would be to bring the strength and presence that Rock had in the 70s and 80s to this younger generation.

Please tell us about your music.

2024 was a very important year for me in terms of releasing new music. I released four new singles this year: Girl on the Screen, Lost Gem, Movie Star, and Blockade. It had been a while since I last recorded, and I was really happy to get back to the studio and take all of this amazing material out of my imagination. If you listen to the songs and compare them to the older stuff, you can clearly notice an improvement in terms of production value and also a clearer definition of influences.

My first memories of Rock was listening to Guns N’ Roses CDs in my dad’s car. When I was about eleven years old, that’s when I really started to look into more bands and discover the likes of ACDC, Ozzy, Iron Maiden, and many more. The exact moment when I decided I wanted to learn to play the guitar was when I saw Randy Rhoads playing the solo in Crazy Train.

During my teen years, I was in a few bands as a guitar player, but I was mostly disappointed in my bandmates’ lack of motivation and willingness to rehearse and take band matters seriously. Basically, I felt no one wanted to make it as bad as I did.

My first record came when I was 19 and in college, back in 2017. The EP “Here’s Johnny” was the best I could do, considering the limited resources I had at the time. It was probably one of the biggest accomplishments I had as a teenager, to have my own record, especially being the singer of my own songs.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey? 

I don’t feel like I’m one to talk about the way to succeed in the music business yet, but I’m sure doing everything I can to find the way to the top. My day-to-day is a mix of writing, producing, promoting, and so on. But something I’m absolutely sure of is that I do and always will focus on the quality of the music first. Everything else comes second.
