Hi, I am a self-taught baker based in New Jersey, USA. I combine my passion for baking with spreading kindness and promoting mental health awareness. Through my bakery, I aim to help those struggling with mental health understand that they are not alone and that we are all on this journey together.

I started my brand, Falohop, in 2018. The name Falohop stands for Faith, Love, and Hope. The brand was created to honor my best friend’s legacy after she passed away, leaving a significant void in the lives of those who loved her. My work combines my love for creating art in the kitchen, helping others, and always spreading kindness. This unique blend of passions gave birth to Falohop Cafe and Bakery.

My journey began with the desire to keep my best friend’s legacy alive. After trying many different business ideas without success, I discovered that combining my passions for baking, helping others, and spreading kindness was the key. This realization led to the creation of Falohop Cafe and Bakery. The journey has been challenging but fulfilling, and staying true to my mission has been essential in navigating the ups and downs.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

The main strategy that has helped me in this business is always trusting God and His guidance, no matter how challenging the situation has been. Additionally, I stay focused on why I started this journey in the first place. Staying true to myself and treating customers with kindness, as I wish the world would treat one another, has been crucial. Maintaining this focus has allowed me to build strong relationships with my customers and create a meaningful impact through my work.

Any message for our readers?

I want to share the most powerful message I ever received, which was from my mom: “Don’t stop dreaming! Ever!” If you’re trying to accomplish anything in this lifetime and things start to not work in your favor, remember that nothing truly meaningful comes easy. The beauty of life is working hard for what you want. When you finally achieve your dreams, you can proudly say, “I made it because I never gave up.” Keep dreaming, and know that you’ve got this.
