Some questions stay with a person through changing circumstances, relationships, and seasons of life. Who are they at their deepest level, and where does their longing for peace lead? In The Hidden Scroll: Journey of the Soul, Steven Benitez approaches these questions through sacred wisdom, spiritual discipline, and the desire to understand the soul’s passage.
When the Search for Meaning Turns Inward
The search for spiritual understanding often begins with something personal. A difficult experience may bring questions about suffering. A quiet moment may awaken curiosity about life’s purpose. Sometimes, there’s simply a persistent feeling that a deeper connection is waiting to be discovered.
Steven’s book speaks to readers who recognize that pull. It explores the longing to return to the soul’s original state and reconnect with the Heavenly Father, described as the Source of all that is. This sense of returning home gives the book its emotional center.
Within that exploration, readers encounter a map of the spiritual path. The book traces stages from the earliest stirrings of seeking to the return to oneness, offering explanations and practical guidance along the way. Its purpose is to help people understand their position on that journey and the challenges they experience.
That framework creates room for reflection. Readers can consider how the teachings relate to their own lives, allowing personal experience to become part of their understanding. Awakening emerges as a mystical process with a grounded connection to everyday existence.
A Shared Conversation Across Sacred Traditions
One of the book’s defining features is its engagement with teachings from several spiritual traditions. Steven draws on Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Taoist, and Indigenous perspectives, exploring the universal wisdom he identifies within them.
Jesus’s teaching about the Kingdom of God within contributes to the book’s understanding of inward return and connection with the Heavenly Father. The Buddha’s Four Noble Truths and Eightfold Path bring a practical consideration of suffering and liberation. Vedic teachings open questions about the soul’s eternal passage through lifetimes, while the Tao Te Ching offers insight into the effortless Way underlying existence.
These perspectives give readers several ways to approach the soul’s journey. Each carries a distinctive vocabulary, and Steven’s comparative approach helps readers explore their relationships within the book’s wider spiritual framework.
The language of the true Self, the Eternal Flame, and Buddha Nature reflects the depth of this inquiry. Such ideas invite contemplation about identity, awakening, and the sacred presence within. For a reader seeking spiritual direction, the book offers a structured way to engage with these profound subjects.
Its attention to practical guidance is equally central. The teachings connect sacred texts with decades of lived experience, supporting an exploration of liberation involving soul and body. Meditation, prayer, movement, and embodied practice form part of the background from which Steven writes.
Available in Kindle, paperback, and hardcover editions on Amazon, The Hidden Scroll: Journey of the Soul is intended for those sincerely seeking a spiritual path and freedom from suffering.
