Thank you so much for joining us today! Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.
My name is Danny. I live with my partner and my energetic four year old, and I’m also a father of two grown children. I currently work in finance, and outside of work I’m a keen walker and swimmer. I love the outdoors, travelling, discovering new places, and meeting people from all walks of life. These experiences continually inspire my writing and shape my approach to financial education.
Please tell us about your journey
My journey into personal finance education began during a challenging period of my life. After a separation about ten years ago, money was tight and making ends meet was a daily struggle. I worked multiple jobs at once, and during that time I learned invaluable lessons about how personal finances truly work, and how they should be organised to build long term security.
Although I’m a finance graduate, I had never applied that knowledge to my own personal finances in a meaningful way. That difficult chapter became a turning point in my mindset and ultimately in my life. A few years later, I began writing down ideas, reflections, and strategies. What started as scattered notes gradually evolved into a structured body of work, and eventually into the books I publish today.
What are the strategies that became successful in your journey?
The full roadmap is laid out in my books, from practical steps to mindset shifts, all designed to help readers build financial confidence, stability, and long term freedom. Each book explores the principles and approaches that shaped my own journey, along with additional strategies that can support others to do the same.
