Lawrence is a Chicago-born filmmaker, author, and Army veteran who served in the U.S. Army from 1990 to 1998. A salutatorian graduate of Full Sail University, he has more than fifteen years of experience as a director, writer, producer, and editor.
Through Deep Production Studios LLC, Lawrence has created horror and character-focused projects, including Tobias: Dark Hallway and Pieces of David. The latter became a Black Harvest Film Festival selection and earned a Black Excellence Award nomination. He also served as co-executive producer on the animated horror feature To Your Last Death. This novel marks his literary debut and launches his planned series.
