Shaynethecub’s Passion for Music
Shaynethecub’s journey into the music world wasn’t a typical one. Unlike many artists who discover their talent at a young age, he started taking vocal lessons at 23. It was during this time that he realized his natural talent had a ceiling and that if he wanted to pursue music seriously, he needed to work hard to improve. His determination led him to work with Bradley Walden, the lead singer of Emarosa, who became his mentor and helped him refine his voice and discover the genre that fit him best.
Now, at 32, Shaynethecub has integrated music into his life in a way that feels both fulfilling and necessary. Shaynethecub’s drive and dedication have been unwavering. His work ethic is evident in every song he creates, and his commitment to his craft is what has brought him the success he’s experienced thus far. Music is not just a hobby for him—it’s a constant part of his life, something he feels compelled to do. And while he may not have started as early as some, his later start hasn’t stopped him from making an impact in the music industry.

He believes that his songs have the potential to help others by showing them that they aren’t alone in their struggles. His honesty, paired with catchy melodies, makes his music relatable, allowing listeners to find solace in the words and emotions he shares.
Songs like “Wrong” exemplify this connection. The track’s relatability comes from its candidness—there’s no sugarcoating or playing it safe. Instead, Shaynethecub dives into the difficult emotions and experiences that many people face, bringing them to the forefront in a way that feels raw and real. This vulnerability is what resonates with his audience, making them feel seen and understood.
As Shaynethecub continues to navigate the music industry, he remains focused on finding his audience. He knows that his music has the power to reach people on a deeper level, and he’s determined to build a fan base that appreciates the honesty and emotion he brings to every track. We had the privilege of interviewing the Music Artist; here are excerpts from the interview:
Hi, Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.
I am actually a wealth manager for a large brokerage firm, but I also song-write for artists and myself as a passion. I started late in life at 23, and now, at 32, I have made music a constant part of what I do in my life. I’m a kid who grew up in an Indian household with two loving parents. Being born and brought up in America, there were differences, and I was able to share some of my story in music. Obviously, heartbreak and relationships were a big motive to start finding singing and songwriting as an outlet.
Please tell us about your Latest Single.
I just put out a song called “Wrong” that has gotten very positive feedback as it is brutally honest and relatable as it is catchy. Sonically the song really has a vibe that feels nostalgic as well as “damn he said that,” and yes, I mean it.
Please tell us about your journey.
I started taking vocal lessons at 23 and found my talent, so I took to find my voice and the genre of music I wanted to make, and now, in my later years, I am trying to find a way to find my audience. Having a fan base who can really connect with these songs, I think, could help a lot of people.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
I stay consistent and keep writing, singing, and putting out songs of one person listening for 1 million. I just enjoy sharing what’s inside my head and emotionally what I was or am going through in the moment.
