Today, we have the pleasure of Interviewing Anjali Sanghvi. She is a Microblading Expert, Celebrity Makeup, and Semi-Permanent Makeup Artist from Bangalore. She has been internationally trained from London, Dubai, and Singapore. Let’s get inspired by her Success Story!
What got you into the beauty industry?
I always believed that beauty can be created as well as enhanced to ensure that an individual’s confidence soars from within, and in turn, one takes on more in life than what seems possible. This is what made me pursue a makeup course in London after my bachelor’s degree in Finance. Stylist by birth, artist by profession, and trainer by passion. I am internationally certified in different styles of makeup, eyelash extensions/ lash lift, and semi-permanent makeup.
What services do you provide?
I am certified in semi-permanent makeup, which includes – Microblading, Liner tattoo, Lip color correction & mole tattoo. I also provide lash extensions and lash lift with semi-permanent mascara. I love working with brides for makeup and work in movie shoots as a prosthetic and makeup artist. I have 2 centers in Bangalore, which also provide nail & hair extensions and laser hair removal, and various hair treatments.
What courses have you done?
I did my professional makeup course from the London School of makeup. Then continued to expand my knowledge by doing the Kim Kardashian seminar, Lash extensions course from Lash perfect in Dubai & my semi-permanent makeup course from Beauty Recipe in Singapore.
Do you also travel for bridal makeup?
Absolutely. I love working with brides. I work with a team that takes care of hairstyling, saree draping, and getting the family members ready while I focus on enhancing the beauty on the brides/grooms face for their special day. I have worked with various different brides and travel for destination weddings too.
Are your services just in Bangalore?
No, I travel all around India and every internationally for destination weddings. I travel around India, tying up with various salons to help their clients with lash services or semi-permanent makeup. My website or my Instagram always has details about my upcoming travels.
What got you into cosmetic tattooing?
I love education myself and learning a new skill every now and then. I used to travel to Singapore twice every year, and one of those times, I learned about their famous semi-permanent makeup skills. I was drawn towards bringing these services to India and signed up immediately. It has been about 4-5 years since I have been doing it, and I absolutely love it!
Do you also certify students?
Yes, I do. I have a number of different courses on my website for people all over the world. I have online one on one courses, pre-recorded online courses, and even live one on one classes in my studio. I teach everything from bridal makeup, celebrity/Bollywood makeup, theatre looks, semi-permanent courses, and various other courses.
