We had the pleasure of interviewing Lola Usupova, Author of Plastic Bag’s Journey: A heartwarming Children’s book for young readers who love adventure and care about the environmentLola is a passionate author and gifted illustrator with a profound love for children’s literature.

Here are the excerpts from the interview.

Hi Lola, Great to have you with us today! Please share with our readers about yourself.

Hello! I am an author and illustrator of children’s books. Since childhood, I have loved to draw and have kept this activity my hobby for a long time. Still, about a year ago, I participated in a marathon with one of my favorite illustrators, Aleksandra Dikaya.

At the marathon, all participants wrote fairy tales for children and drew several illustrations. My Story and a few other tales were chosen for publication in the Book, a good collection of stories from Alexandra.

Please tell us about your book, Plastic Bag’s Journey.

I was so inspired by this small victory that I decided to go through with it and publish my Story as a standalone book. I have worked extensively on text editing and illustrations for the Book, and it is now available to order on Amazon.

Plastic Bag’s Journey” is a 32-page picture book for children perfect for early kindergarten, preschool, and elementary school readers. Join Rick on his amazing journey to the Second Breath factory, where he hopes to be recycled and transformed into something new. Along the way, he makes friends with different sea creatures who teach him about the beauty and fragility of their underwater world. He also learns about the dangers of plastic waste and how it affects the ocean and its inhabitants. He realizes that he can make a difference by being kind and helpful to others.

Plastic Bag’s Journey” is a charming and inspiring bedtime story for children who love adventure and care about the environment.

Please share with our readers about your journey.

Since childhood, I have loved to draw and position myself more as an illustrator of children’s books and not an author. I have already illustrated eight children’s books, and I already have my style in illustration. I also do graphics for other authors. When I first started exploring the children’s book market, I saw many different types from different authors, and it seemed that I would never have my style. But it turned out to be all about practice. Now I know that cute children’s illustrations for children’s books are what I want to do forever! The more you draw, the more you understand what you like to draw and how.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

Faith in myself and the support of loved ones helped me on this journey. Without help, I would not have been able to do anything.

Fantastic! So tell us, how can people find out more about your book?

Two of my books are already available on AmazonPlastic Bag’s Journey and Hamster Tim: A Journey of Hope and Courage. My next Book, which I’ve been working on for the past six months, is coming out soon. We have already begun work with my publishing house on preparing the Book for publication.
