Some science-fiction stories imagine the future from a distance. Ricky Melwani’s TECHMAN series places readers directly inside it, where experimental brain chips, medical robots, evolving languages, and hidden global organizations are already reshaping human lives.
Readers can discover the complete story so far when TECHMAN Part One: Age of Super & Quantum Computing and TECHMAN Part Two: The Age of Intelligence and Language become free on Amazon from September 1 to 5, 2026. The promotion follows Amazon US Pacific Time.
A Child Changed by an Impossible Invention
Aaron Sharma’s journey begins at eight years old after a devastating accident threatens his life. His father, a neuroscientist working with highly experimental technology, has only one possible way to save him. He implants Aaron with an advanced neural chip that combines quantum and supercomputing capabilities.
The invention saves Aaron and permanently changes the way his mind works. He can understand technological systems, identify hidden patterns, and solve problems beyond ordinary human ability. His extraordinary capabilities also place his family in danger. They leave India, adopt new identities, and attempt to create a secure life in Australia.
TECHMAN Part One: Age of Super & Quantum Computing follows Aaron as he balances school, friendship, and family with his secret role as an unseen protector. His abilities become essential when a train races at 130 kilometres per hour without brakes toward a section of missing track. Aaron saves his tutor, but the attacking virus evolves. Its next target is a train carrying his mother.
Other incidents push his understanding even further. A military simulator jumps between World War I, Omaha Beach, and an unfamiliar alien battlefield. When an unknown language appears, Aaron answers in it without understanding how he acquired that knowledge.
During another mission, his advanced suit defeats cameras, infrared systems, and radar. The building still detects his presence through heat, breathing, heartbeat, and disturbed air. It studies his movements until it can predict where he’ll go. Each episode reveals a world where technology can observe, adapt, and develop alarming capabilities of its own.
Part Two Opens Four New Fronts
TECHMAN Part Two: The Age of Intelligence and Language raises the stakes through four interwoven conflicts. Aaron initially confronts mysterious languages spreading across connected technological systems. They match nothing in recorded history, and their structures transform while experts examine them. Conventional translation programs fail completely.

Aaron directs his brain chip toward the mystery and discovers that even his enhanced mind has limitations. He begins developing an original system capable of identifying the patterns beneath the languages. Those patterns may reveal their creator and explain why an unknown intelligence has started communicating.
A second storyline follows Dr. Robert as Eidolon and Eidos enter human medical trials. The advanced robotic systems support research involving bio-artificial cells that can search for disease at its earliest stages. Their readings uncover a previously undetected layer within the human body.
The discovery becomes personal when terminally ill Thomas Ashworth arrives through the United Nations. At 68, Thomas is grieving the wife he loved for 43 years. His request asks medicine to enter unexplored territory. He wants Robert to preserve the emotional imprint left by that relationship and transfer a part of it to his daughter.
The Phantom Syndicate drives another major conflict. Over fourteen years, the organization has gained influence within the infrastructure of 47 nations. Aaron and his team convert digital evidence into physical locations, yet remote surveillance can only take them so far. Their investigation soon develops into a dangerous military operation.
Meanwhile, three hunters receive 45 days to locate something buried for 25 years. Their search leads toward a secret connected to Aaron’s father and everything he has spent his life protecting.
About the Author
Ricky is an Australian author and the creator of the TECHMAN series. His fictional universe combines science fiction with the tension and momentum of a techno-thriller, covering advanced computing, neuroscience, robotics, medicine, cybercrime, and intelligence operations.

Ricky also keeps the emotional experiences of his characters at the centre of the story. His work examines family loyalty, personal identity, memory, responsibility, grief, and the choices people face when powerful inventions enter their daily lives.
Five Days to Enter the TECHMAN Universe
Together, the two novels trace Aaron’s development from a gifted child hiding an extraordinary secret to a young man confronting questions that may challenge humanity’s understanding of intelligence and communication.
Both TECHMAN books will be free on Amazon from September 1 through September 5, 2026, according to Amazon US Pacific Time.
We had the privilege of interviewing the author. Here are excerpts from the interview:
Hi, thank you so much for joining us today! Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.
My name is Ricky Melwani. I am an Australian author and the creator of the TECHMAN series.
This is my second interview feature for TECHMAN, and this time the purpose is different. Rather than reintroducing myself, this conversation is about the five-day giveaway we are running for readers and what comes next for the series.
My focus with TECHMAN is not simply to introduce futuristic technology, but to explore what happens to people when that technology begins changing the way they think, communicate, survive, and make decisions.
Please share your journey with our readers.
The TECHMAN journey began with a simple idea: what would happen if an experimental brain chip, implanted to save a child’s life, eventually gave him capabilities far beyond what anyone intended?
That became Aaron Sharma’s story.
In Part One, readers watch Aaron grow from an eight-year-old child into someone capable of using the technology inside his mind in extraordinary situations.
Part Two expands the world considerably: unknown languages appear across technological systems, Dr. Robert begins human medical trials, the Phantom Syndicate grows into an international threat, and another mystery emerges around something that has remained hidden for twenty-five years.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
One of the most important things for me has been continuing to develop the story rather than limiting it to a single idea.
If a technology is introduced, I think about what it could lead to next. If a character gains a capability, I also think about its limitations, consequences and how other people might respond to it.
Persistence also matters enormously. Writing a large continuing series requires patience, consistency and a willingness to keep improving the work as the world of the story expands.
Most importantly, I try to keep the technology connected to human questions, because technology becomes far more interesting when the reader has a reason to care about the person using it.
Any message for our readers?
After the recent press coverage, I received messages from readers who wanted to read TECHMAN and asked whether free copies were available.
That response inspired us to make both books free for five days.
If you enjoy techno-thrillers, science fiction, mysteries, and stories about technology pushing beyond familiar boundaries, this is an opportunity to begin Aaron’s story from the start and continue straight into Part Two.
Both TECHMAN Part One and TECHMAN Part Two: The Age of Intelligence and Language will be free on Amazon from September 1–5, 2026.
I hope you enjoy the story, the technology, the characters, and the wider world we are building across the series.
What’s next for the TECHMAN series?
Part Three is almost ready, and we’re aiming to release it in early to mid 2027.
Beyond that, Parts Four, Five and Six already exist in their early drafts. The first wave of the TECHMAN series is fully mapped, and our goal is to bring the rest of that wave to readers over the next three to five years.
Each new installment expands the world with new challenges, new technologies, and new story arcs while continuing the mysteries readers have already encountered.
That is part of why we are running this giveaway now: it lets new readers catch up on Aaron’s story from the very beginning, so when Part Three arrives, they are standing exactly where the story needs them to be.
Thank you so much, Ricky, for giving us your precious time! We wish you all the best for your journey ahead!
