We had the privilege of interviewing the author. Here are excerpts from the interview:
Thank you so much for joining us today! Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.
My name is Anis Agris, and I work as a strategic consultant with a strong focus on crisis management and business development in the hospitality and event industries. I help businesses grow while building operational structures that can handle pressure and disruption. I’m also the founder of AMG.Concepts, a multidisciplinary platform combining creative consulting, nightlife strategy, and brand resilience.
Please tell us about your journey.
I started out behind the scenes in nightlife — organizing, managing, and scaling concepts in Antwerp and beyond. Over the years, I’ve helped launch and sustain various events, often stepping in when things weren’t running smoothly. That’s how I realized my real talent lies not just in building experiences, but in stabilizing and turning around chaotic ones.
In 2025, I was part of the operational support team for a travel company servicing Tomorrowland. Our job was to coordinate thousands of international guests — and when an unexpected crisis hit the headlines, we had to adapt quickly. That experience reminded me how often the difference between collapse and success lies in how well you prepare for the worst.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
- Staying calm when it counts: I don’t panic under pressure — I strategize.
- People first, always: Whether it’s a guest, a client, or a team member — I focus on human dynamics. That’s where real solutions are born.
- Structure protects creativity: I rely on checklists, crisis plans, and systems that give brands the freedom to thrive — even in tough times.
- Long game mindset: I don’t build for hype — I build for longevity and legacy.
