Exam stress—it’s something almost everyone has felt at some point. Whether you’re preparing for a big test, a driving theory exam, or even a job interview, nerves often get the best of you. But what if there was a way to manage that anxiety and walk into your exam feeling calm, collected, and ready to conquer the challenge? Nadia Camit Upton’s Manifest Your Test: 30-Day Mindset Journal might just be the answer you’re looking for.
A Calming Approach to Exam Anxiety
Preparing for an exam isn’t just about studying hard; it’s about preparing your mind to stay calm and focused. Nadia’s journal offers a creative, interactive way to do just that. Each of the 30 days is designed to help ease stress and replace it with positive, productive energy. You won’t just be cramming facts into your brain—you’ll be taking time to reset, relax, and reflect on how far you’ve come.
The journal features fun activities such as drawing, writing, and coloring—all of which are proven to reduce stress. For example, one day you might be asked to draw a trophy with your name on it. Simple? Yes. Powerful? Absolutely. These small, but thoughtful tasks help shift your mindset from one of pressure to one of positivity and self-belief.
Through this approach, you’ll be reminded to nurture your mental health while getting ready for the big day. It’s not about perfection, it’s about growth. And with each entry, you’ll gain a sense of accomplishment and calm.
Reflect and Affirm: A Key to Success
One of the most valuable parts of the Manifest Your Test journal is its focus on reflection and affirmation. Each day, you’re encouraged to write your thoughts, feelings, and goals. For instance, you might write a love letter to yourself, expressing appreciation for your strengths, achievements, and resilience. This simple yet profound activity can shift your focus from worries about the test to appreciation for all that you’ve accomplished in life.
Affirmations are another powerful tool embedded in the journal. A daily affirmation like “I am proud of the progress I made so far” helps you recognize the growth you’ve already experienced. It shifts your mindset from “I’m not ready” to “I’m more than capable.” Over time, these affirmations help build the mental strength you need to face any challenge that comes your way—whether it’s a test, a big presentation, or even an important life decision.
Walt Disney once said, “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” And this journal encourages you to do just that. No more procrastinating. No more stress. It’s about moving forward with confidence, one step at a time.
Perfect for All Ages—and All Kinds of Exams
Nadia Upton’s Manifest Your Test isn’t just for kids taking their school exams. This journal is for anyone facing a stressful situation that requires mental clarity and confidence. Adults preparing for job interviews, driving theory tests, or professional certifications can benefit just as much from this tool.
In fact, Nadia’s own daughter, who struggled with anxiety during the pandemic, used this journal as a way to calm her nerves. Through journaling, she gained a sense of control over her emotions—and as a result, her academic performance improved drastically. So much so that she was recently offered a membership in the British Mensa High IQ society after achieving an impressive IQ score of 158. That’s three points higher than Elon Musk!
This journal also helped Nadia’s daughter successfully ace her Grade 5 Piano exam, earning a distinction. And if it worked for her, why wouldn’t it work for anyone else? Whether you’re a student, a professional, or someone facing a personal challenge, the calming activities in this journal can make a huge difference. It’s a simple tool that anyone can use to build their mental resilience.
Why You Should Try It
Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best. Manifest Your Test is easy to use, practical, and effective. The journal is a thoughtful gift for anyone you know who’s facing an exam or challenging situation. Whether it’s a friend, a child, or even yourself, this tool can help transform stress into success.
Nadia’s passion for mental health advocacy shines through in this journal. As a mental health advocate, she understands firsthand how anxiety can hinder performance. That’s why she crafted this journal not just as a means to prepare for exams but as a tool for managing anxiety in any situation. Plus, the journal’s beautiful full-color pages make it an enjoyable experience. The act of journaling itself is therapeutic, and this book is designed to make you feel good about doing it.
In a world dominated by screens and digital distractions, Manifest Your Test encourages a return to the simple act of pen and paper. It’s an intentional, mindful way to approach mental health and exam preparation. By using this journal, you’re taking proactive steps to nurture your well-being and ensure you’re fully prepared for the big day—no matter what it may be.
So go ahead—take a deep breath, open the journal, and let it guide you. You’ve got this!
We had the privilege of interviewing the author. Here are excerpts from the interview:
Hi, Thank you so much for joining us today! Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.
I’m Nadia Upton, a piano teacher, writer, and mental health advocate. I have first-hand experience with how poor mental health can affect a child’s learning.
Please tell us about your book.
During the pandemic, my daughter experienced anxiety, and I searched high and low for solutions. I came across an article on how journaling can help alleviate anxiety. This became my inspiration for this book, Manifest Your Test. I am very much aware of today’s generation’s addiction to iPads, so I deliberately did a paperback edition to encourage them to go back to good old pen and paper. The pages are beautiful enough- in full color to encourage them to write.
Journaling was so helpful to her that recently, she was offered a membership in the British Mensa High IQ Society, having gained an IQ of 158. Three notches higher than Elon Musk! I feel how frustrating it is for some parents and educators to manage anxiety during exams- this is an easy, convenient aid accessible to anyone. Recently, my daughter went through her Grade 5 Piano exam and aced it as well with a distinction using this tool.
Any message for our readers?
This is something that adults can use as well- for job interview exams, driving theory tests, etc. I really am hoping to share this simple tool with everyone. It is my contribution to society.
Thank you so much, Nadia, for giving us your precious time! We wish you all the best for your journey ahead!
