Papa Courtney Stuns with His New Hit ‘Your All You Got’ – A Must Listen!

Papa Courtney, a name that’s becoming more and more familiar in the music scene, has a story to tell, and he does it through his songs. His journey in music has been a passionate endeavor, driven by life experiences, personal loss, and a deep love for the craft. Despite facing challenges along the way, Papa Courtney has found his voice as a musician, creating tunes that resonate with listeners and reflect his laid-back yet emotional style. With a growing following on YouTube and a collection of heartfelt songs, Papa Courtney is carving out a space for himself in the music world, one fan at a time.

From Family to Music: The Start of Something New

Though Papa Courtney had always been fond of the guitar, it wasn’t until recent years that he began truly dedicating himself to songwriting. Life had kept him busy. Raising three boys and caring for his parents took priority, and his musical journey was put on hold. When his father passed away in 2020, followed by his mother in 2023, something changed. His mother’s passing, in particular, left a deep impact. Watching her health decline over 15 days and experiencing the heartbreak of losing her stirred something in him.

“I remember thinking, after she had passed, that now she was just a memory, and memories fade,” Papa Courtney recalls. That thought became a turning point. He was determined not to fade away himself. Instead, he channeled his emotions into music, writing songs as a way to honor his journey and create something lasting.

In just nine months, Papa Courtney had written 16 original songs, each one a reflection of his experiences and growth as a musician. Despite working with minimal resources, or as he puts it, on a “thin spaghetti budget,” his creativity flowed, and his love for music kept him moving forward.

We had the privilege of interviewing the Music Artist. Here are excerpts from the interview:

Hi, Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.

My name is PAPA COURTNEY. I’m a simple guy who has something to say, and what better way to say it than along some chill, laidback music. I’m 53 years old, but thank the lord, that age is just a number. Lol, whew, thanks, big guy lol. I come from Germany originally but have lived in Arizona since 1983. I raised my kids and three boys and took care of my parents until their passing.

Please tell us about your journey.

I have been playing guitar for about 40 years and have always loved creating music. I could just play for hours, and it feels like minutes; I’m hooked, lol. I raised my three boys and took care of my aging parents after that. Dad passed away in 2020, and my mom passed away in 2023, but my mom’s passing hit me in a way that I will never forget. I basically watched her die for 15 days, and I remember thinking after she had passed that now she was just a memory, and they fade away; I’m not going out like that. So I started writing songs, and nine months later, I have 16 songs that I really think are all pretty good. You can hear my progression with each song, and I’m doing all this on a thin spaghetti budget, lol; I’m looking for someone to help me produce and a sound engineer to help me master my older songs again.

My biggest platform is YouTube right now, with 15,000 subscribers, and my new song, Your All You Got, has been out for 12 days and has hit 15,000 views already.

At the moment, I’m traveling from Arizona to New York, trying to meet as many people as possible and get my name and music out there. I and my pal, SEXY REXY shepherd malamute mix, is on the road as I’m writing this, and I’m working on my next song, which I should hopefully have done in a few weeks. I just finished 1 of the guitar parts, so it’s coming along. I try to write a new song every four weeks or so, but being on the road, it might be quicker or slower; time will tell lol. My strategy right now is to go meet the people one FAN at a time. If I have to, I think my music is pretty chill, and like I said, I’m looking for that little bit of help to make it as good as it deserves to be.

Any message for our readers

A special message would maybe be, please just give me a chance and at least one listen. I promise you won’t be disappointed. My biggest platform is YouTube, but I’m on TikTok, Instagram, Pandora, iHeart, apple, amazon, and, of course, the very AWESOME AWESOME SPOTIFY; I’m at a lot of places, and please comment. I love my fans and will reply 100%, and it is me replying. It might take me a couple of days, but the FANS is what it really is all about.

How can people find out about you?

Well, just ask. I’m pretty easygoing; google me. Like I said, YouTube right now is my biggest platform, or email me; I am pretty easy to find, I hope lol.

Thank you so much, PAPA COURTNEY, for giving us your precious time! We wish you all the best for your journey ahead!
