Stupid Bars was born Darice Holley on April 22, in Ashtabula, Ohio. He is the oldest of 8 siblings. His mom and Dad are both music orientated, so it was passed down to him. His uncles were also into music. One is a producer, and the other is a rapper. He looked up to all of them and picked it up for himself.
He is inspired by Tupac, Biggie, Nas, J. Cole, Drake, Nipsey Hussle, Tha Joker, One Chance, 50 Cent, and many other artists. Stupid Bars follows himself for the simple fact that he doesn’t want to sound like any other rapper. He started taking rap seriously when he was 16. He has been on stage with or opened up for YG, Cashis, Sly Boogie, Teeflii, Jackie Chain, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, Tank, Sean Kingston, and a couple of other artists.
He has been through many trials and tribulations and puts them all into his music. He has been back and forth between Ohio and California since 1990. He is smart in the books and street smart. Stupid Bars has been and will stay on the path he is on. He is a kind-hearted, humble, intelligent, non-pushover type of man with a crazy work ethic. He has released 12 projects/albums since 2018.
