De’borah’s love for fashion and beauty led her to create Successful Cosmetics brand Klasee K’toure Cosmetics!

Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing De’borah, Founder of Klasee K’toure Cosmetics.

Please tell us about what it is that you do.

I am the sole owner of Klasee K’toure Cosmetics. I have a background in business management and leadership. I started my cosmetics brand for the love and passion I have for fashion and beauty. I enjoy making others feel and look good! I am the youngest of my sister Crystal and me. My sister Crystal was my backbone and pushed me to do better and go above beyond. When my sister was murdered in 1998, a part of my soul left with her. I am engaged to the love of my life, my high school sweetheart and supporter. I have 7 beautiful children. My youngest is 14 years old. I have struggled for many years after the passing of my sister to regroup and focus on what I truly love, and that is fashion and beauty. Without the love and support of my family, I do not know where I would be mentally. Owning my cosmetics brand is a feeling of accomplishment! I am not where I plan to be, but I am headed in the right direction of being a successful businesswoman.

Please tell us more about your journey.

I started Klasee K’toure Cosmetics because beauty and fashion have always been a great part of my life. Growing up around my aunt Sabrina who owned 3 successful beauty salons, set the stone for me to be in this industry. I have always wanted my own beauty salon, but I let time pass me by and procrastinated. I moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in 2012 and started to work for a company that owned 4 black-owned businesses. I managed all 4 of the businesses. Seeing how they handled business as successful entrepreneurs gave me the courage to finally focus on starting my own brand. Life’s trials and tribulations have taught me nothing in life is promised, not even life. Do not put off today for tomorrow and live life to the fullest. I know I have a long way ahead of me for people to trust my product’s quality, but I have confidence that we will be one of the best in the industry. I started a PR and Affiliate team via social media to help bring awareness to my brand. I have 9 wonderful young ladies that go live and promote my products.

Please tell us about your company, Klasee K’toure Cosmetics.

I am the CEO of Klasee K’toure Cosmetics. Launching a new business is not easy. Klasee K’toure Cosmetics is a black-woman-owned indie brand launched in January 2020. What made me start a cosmetics line is the love and passion I have to always feel beautiful & classy. I was raised in the beauty industry under my aunt that owned many beauty salons. Growing up feeling and looking beautiful from head to toe was instilled in me. I strive to teach others how to correctly apply makeup, which is my passion. Having a PR and Affiliate team via social media helps young ladies learning the correct application process. Making others feel beautiful & classy is my goal. Klasee K’toure Cosmetics is a diverse opened hearted company that vows to provide the best prices with quality products along with the best professional customer service.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

Being positive and praying has helped me to remain focused on my business. With all of the completion in the beauty industry, the stress can cause a weak person to fail. As my grandmother would say, “Look on the bread aisle, you see 50 different brands all being purchased. NEVER GIVE UP.” This has played in my head countless times and keeps me motivated to be at the top 10. I feel my journey has just begun, but it will continue to get better. We will not stop until we are in the top 10.
