Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Mike Vara, Real Estate Professional with Platinum Real Estate and Owner of Vara Property Advisors, LLC. 

Please tell us about yourself.

I work with people to make the process of Selling and Buying a home, business, or commercial properties. I am married to my beautiful wife Stacy; I have 3 kids (Alyssa, 19 years old, Sophomore at Notre Dame College, Mikey, 17 years old, Junior at Eastlake North High School; and Dominic, 11 years old). My wife trains Dogs for a living and owns Bomber K9, LLC; we have 4 dogs of our own (Bomber, Harley, Izzy, and Trigger)

I am also an Assistant Football Coach for the past 5 years at Eastlake North High School.

Please tell us about your journey.

I was a Financial advisor from 2005-2009 with Edward Jones Investments and JP Morgan Chase. Transitioned into Retail Banking with Chase and Key Bank before becoming an Initiative Development Manager at Key Bank Corporate overseeing Consumer and Small Business Banking products. My finance career gave me a great deal of knowledge to excel in Real Estate, and I decided to become a Realtor full time in late 2018. In 2020 I sold just under $5,000,000 in homes in Northeastern Ohio. 

Please tell us about Platinum Real Estate and Vara Property Advisors, LLC.

Platinum Real Estate has multiple offices in Ohio and Florida, growing exponentially in the last few months and building a new corporate national headquarters in Mentor, OH. I am only a Real Estate Agent under Platinum. The CEO is Mark Zervos, and our head Broker is Steven Sears, both icons in Luxury Real Estate in Ohio. Mark’s wife Denise heads up the Neighborhood Experts Team under Platinum Real Estate as well. I own and operate Vara Property Advisors, LLC under Platinum Real Estate; my focus is increasing the number of clients I can work with year over year, cultivating referrals, selling homes quickly for maximum value, and negotiating aggressively for my Buyer clients. Vara Property Advisors is growing and starting a Real Estate Team to launch in 2021.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

Strategies are my unbelievable focus and determination. I study the Real Estate Markets in ridiculous detail and value homes to smoothly and swiftly sell them within the market.
