Gxnyo is making his audience groove along with his ingeniously crafted album ‘The Happiness Allergies’

Nick-Gonyo

Gxnyo (pronounced Gon-Yo) has recently dropped another great release to please his fans. The Happiness Allergies features four tracks that have a lot of energy, flow, style, and humor. It includes TiredIn My HeadPopstarr, and Down.

Nick Gonyo, known by his artistic name Gxnyo, is a truly unique artist. He is a genre-hopper who performs a bit of everything and does an amazing job in everything from pop to hip-hop to country to indie rock, bringing his signature strong vocals and a unique sound that distinguishes him from many other indie artists.

Nick changed and adapted a lot throughout his life. As a kid, he moved from state to state, and that taught him to find a way to fit into many boxes. His music is a great reflection of that, as he refuses to pick a genre or imitate someone else. Instead, he wants to be the best version of himself with every track he releases.

Happiness Allergies is a series of tracks that offer a truly versatile experience and are a great introduction to Gxnyo’s work. They show his ability to succeed across genres and bring elements of one into another without issue. This helps his music appeal to many listeners and especially those who are seeking out new genre blends and ways to explore in depth the psyche and soul of this artist. It is an expression of his thoughts and feelings, the deepest and darkest secrets and desires, as well as the tribulations he has been through in the past years. It is a passion project that is coming out after two years of hard work, and it’s truly an experience for the audience.

One of the key elements that shine through the album is the willingness of the artist to be vulnerable and let the audience in. He expresses every aspect of who he is, both the good and the bad, and uses the project as a way to showcase his own growth, his own demons, and his own goals and ambitions. These tracks go deep, and they are not afraid to delve into the inner world of the artist with everything this entails rather than stay on a superficial level. Listeners are sure to identify with his experiences, emotions, and the way he finds to showcase everything.

Gxnyo’s music is sure to please fans of experimental genre blends who want to have a new experience and discover unique, innovative voices in the indie scene. In addition, it is likely to find fans across genres thanks to the artist’s versatility and unwillingness to commit to just one genre when he can explore the possibilities of many.

You can find Gxnyo’s music on Spotify and all the other major streaming platforms. You can find his music on SoundCloud and Apple as well, looking for either Nick Gonyo or Gxnyo.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Nick Gonyo. Here are the excerpts from the interview.

Hi Nick, Great to have you with us today! Please share with our readers about yourself.

Hi, my artist name is Gxnyo, taken from my last name (Gonyo) (pronounced Gon-Yo). I am a singer and rap occasionally, but I have always loved singing. My journey began when I was as little as 8, always singing and even doing my own competitions with my friend’s American idol style, where my brothers would judge us. I always loved showing people my voice. I just didn’t know how to go about making my own music until I was 18. Living without either of my parents at this point, when I turned 18, I met one of my best friends, Jay Stud, and watching him mix songs for himself and for me showed me exactly how to get started with my music. I didn’t want to spend 80 dollars an hour for studio time, so I took it upon myself to learn the ins and outs of audio engineering. I’m 20 now and have recently dropped my first debut album, The Happiness Allergies. It was a compilation of some of the songs I’ve accumulated over the years put into one project to let it out there and move forward.

Please tell us more about your album, The Happiness Allergies.

The story I try to tell with my songs is a simple one. I try to put my heart into my songs and let the music talk. I don’t write much of my music before hopping on. I usually freestyle and then give the song structure with my different takes. It’s whatever’s on my mind at the time is what will be put into the mic. I am someone that struggles with mental health, so my music is kind of an outlet for me to let out my pain, and I hope that it can be for others as well if they relate to what i’m singing.

Fantastic! So tell us, how can people find out more about you?
