Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Amira Meliani, an Influencer and Business Woman. She is also into social work and volunteers a lot with organizations.
Hi Amira, Great to have you with us today! Please introduce yourself and tell us about what it is that you do.
I am from Morocco. After getting my bachelor’s in business administration from the American University of Leadership in Orlando, Florida, USA, I went to Turkey to do my MBA and start working simultaneously. I started volunteering and visiting refugee camps in Turkey, India, Senegal, Iran.
Also, I have another master’s in project management from Spain, and currently doing my doctorate in Geneva, Switzerland.
I have two companies. One specializes in importing food grains from India, and the second one for medical devices.
I am a self-made businesswoman. I struggled a lot to reach where I am now.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
That’s a question I get all the time. As a successful young lady in business, people always want to know my secret; how I did it, and how they can do it, too. All I can say is hard work. Since I was 17, I have been working every summer, I graduated one year earlier than my friends, and now I’m officially the youngest Doctorate student in Europe, as I’m just 24 years old. I own two companies already, which is something making people think about how that is possible.
To be honest, it was very hard to reach this position, and no one helped me to reach this position except the prayers of my family, God’s blessings, and my hard work.
Fantastic! So tell us, how can people find out more about you?
You can find out more about me from my Instagram @amirameliani.
Thank you so much, Amira, for giving us your precious time! We wish you all the best for your journey ahead!
