Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Mario Garozzo, CEO of Garozzo Group AB, based in Stockholm, Sweden. Garozzo Group is a dynamic, fast-developing global company with its corporate sales office located in Stockholm, Sweden, and partner Stramondo manufacturing company based in Sicily, Italy.
Please tell us about yourself.
I have been an entrepreneur all my life, have been managing different companies. I speak fluent Swedish, Italian, Spanish, English.

I am born in Sweden but have been traveling the world. I have lived both in France and east Europe for some years, but I am now back in Sweden.
I am half Sicilian/Italian and half Swedish. I have been doing business since childhood.

Our business is based on an extensive dealer network and a high level of professionalism. We constantly refine our system of customer service and focus on individual solutions that will enhance your business.
Since the year 2011, we, together with our partner company, produce different types of healthy hazelnut spreads made in Italy, Sicily. I have now started up a new sales company in Sweden, Stockholm.
Being half Sicilian and half Swedish, I know both cultures of ancient Sicily. All our products are handmade.
With our partner company in Sicily we have been manufacturing several types of healthy hazelnut and pistachio spreads with rich ingredients since 2011, and they are branded under several different labels and names worldwide. The cream is not only healthier against similar products on the market, but with top quality and high content of hazelnuts.
Our cream is manufactured without any added sugar and is only sweetened with xylitol or erythritol. These sweeteners have several benefits and are healthier choice than sugar containing products.
There is absolutely no colorants, preservatives or chemicals used in our cream production.
It is also vegan, palm oil free, gluten free, lactose free, trans-fat free and GMO-free with a low carb. The spreads are a good alternative for people with diabetes.
Our company’s team of experts have been working tirelessly to find the perfect combination to remove the palm oil in our products. The efforts have yielded results as our product can now be ordered and manufactured palm oil free. It also ensures that our clients can get what they want from a unique product they already trusted. Our goal is to expand our business further to a larger market across the world where new partners will sell and market our brands in countries where we are not active yet.
Today we are selling our products under private labels in different countries such as Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, USA and Canada.
In March 2017 we launched a new Hyperion protein hazelnut cream that contains 27% hazelnuts and 21% proteins, sweetened with xylitol and palm oil free.
