Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Nimra Savanghan, an Author from the beautiful sunny island of Sri Lanka.
Hi Nimra, Great to have you with us today! Please tell us about what it is that you do.
I am a writer; I work as a content writer, Ecommerce specialist and write fiction as a hobby.
Can you please tell us more about your journey?
I have been writing fiction since I was eight years old. As a child, I preferred horror as a genre, and I wrote quite a few horror stories. However, as I grew older, I expanded my interest in other genres, such as thrillers, dramas, and YA. I currently live with my husband, two daughters, and four cats in Sri Lanka.
Please tell us about your book ‘Stories from the bubble.’
‘Stories from the bubble’ follow the journey of human connection during a prolonged global epidemic. Each story explores a protagonist’s subjective state of mind through gender, love, and sex.
This is an anthology by three writers > Nimra Savanghan, Sabeeha Samsoodeen, and Radhika Ranaweera.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Patience has definitely played a big role in getting me to where I am today. I believe that a journey will always be successful if you work hard along the way. The journey will never be easy. Adapting and being resilient are key 🙂

Stories from a Bubble was written during a very long lockdown by myself and two other wonderful writers, and I hope you will enjoy reading it.
I would also like to give a shout-out to all Sri Lankans who are currently fighting for the future of our country. We are a resilient, badass bunch!
