We had the privilege of interviewing the Twitch Streamer. Here are excerpts from the interview:

Hi, Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.

My name is Mughira; I am the owner of X Dynasty & one of the leaders of the Twitch team, too. 

Please tell us about your Twitch and Discord Channels. 

Our Twitch is primarily gaming related but we plan to expand to other things in the near future. Our brand mainly operates on Discord. This is how we describe our community. We are an open Asian community, inclusive to all. We have 12,000+ members currently on Discord. We have a huge potential for growth & lead the way on Discord for these types of communities. 

Please tell us about your journey.

Over the course of university & COVID, I found a lot of people online that contributed to giving me a sense of home, and from there, we built X Dynasty over time. We ended up being more than just a server & brand. We became home to many people to express & expand on the things they chose to. The growth took us a while until we eventually became the most active 18+ Asian server. Drawing in a huge crowd daily. We then realized there is no limit to this. We could expand further & start looking into other platforms. If you think about it, the way I see it is that this is the start of our journey. We have a long way to go, so why not join us for the ride?

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

My strategy, for the most part, is being a part of the community; there is no point in leading a community you don’t understand. For a lot of people, X Dynasty was a place where they could really explore themselves & figure out themselves. For me, it became a place where I could watch others grow into the versions of themselves they wanted to go towards. With all this being said, it was also a place we could let loose.
