My journey to founding Regreenity started years ago when I co-founded Nahow e.V., a non-profit dedicated to improving education and infrastructure in my hometown. We focused on building schools, enhancing sanitation, providing solar lights to reduce fossil fuel use, and setting up a vocational center to empower local youth. While working in these communities, I saw the detrimental effects of environmental destruction firsthand—deforestation, pollution, and the severe impact on health. It became clear to me that true community empowerment requires a healthy, sustainable environment. This realization led me to create Regreenity, combining my corporate experience and passion for environmental protection to make a meaningful difference on a larger scale.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Several key strategies have been crucial in my journey:
• Community Focus: Placing the community at the center of everything we do has helped Regreenity grow as a movement. PlanetHike, for instance, is designed to bring people together in a way that’s enjoyable yet meaningful, creating lasting connections between participants and our mission.
